Organization was founded as "Community Supporting A Gap" by growing backyard vegetables and delivering free community food boxes.

Organization was renamed as "Growing Ancestral Roots".

Registered as nonprofit in Oregon.

Began working with fiscal sponsor which allowed us to apply for larger grants.

Culturas Unidas was born, an entrepreneurial project under GAR.

Received 510(c)3 status with IRS as a public charity.
